MUMBAI: A technician of Air India was today sucked into the engine of a parked aircraft at the Mumbai airport. The crew member died immediately.
The aircraft, AI 619, was at the parking bay and was being prepared for departure to Hyderabad.
"An Air India technician died in a mishap during pushback of flight AI 619, incident is being investigated," said Air India Chairman and Managing Director, Ashwani Lohani.
